MISSION
VISION Our Board members are passionately committed to transforming Crisfield into a vibrant and thriving community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed in an outstanding and meaningful way.
Our Vision is for Crisfield to be the number one unique tourist destination on the Eastern Shore. We will realize our vision for the Crisfield community by executing meaningful actions that conform to our Core Values and align with our Strategies.
1) We believe that the Crisfield area is a wonderful place to live or visit, with enormous untapped potential and offering substantial opportunities.
2) We believe in the goodness and potential of all people, that the people of Crisfield are the greatest asset for realizing community transformation, and that our diversity is our strength. We will embrace all of those choosing to be here, come here, visit here, or invest here.
3) We believe that the most direct path to the transformation of the greater Crisfield area is through tourism, built around the unique heritage and natural resources of the area.
4) We believe that transformation will require and result in the creation of skill development programs leading to significant job opportunities for existing residents, expanded home ownership, and the eradication of poverty.
5) We believe in inclusiveness. All people within the community must be assured of the fullness of the opportunities that exist, and all should share in the benefits and advantages resulting from them. We seek One United Crisfield.
